D.P. Dough robbed early Tuesday morning, SPD says

A man brandished a knife and took cash from the register before fleeing the scene, a witness said.

The Syracuse Police Department responded to a robbery call from D.P. Dough early Tuesday morning, according to a statement from SPD Public Information Officer Lt. Matthew Malinowski.

Officers responded to the call from the restaurant, located at 315 S. Clinton St., at 12:55 a.m. An employee said that a man entered the store and went behind the register with a knife demanding cash, Malinowski said in the release. The man then left with the cash, and no injuries were reported.

The investigation is active and ongoing, Malinowski said, and anyone with information should contact SPD at 315-442-5222.
